Sika opens mortar production facility in the USA
Baar/Bridgeton - Sika has opened a mortar production plant in the U.S. state of New Jersey. According to the specialty chemicals company, the facility is the largest of its kind in the USA and will service major metropolitan areas in the Northeast.
(CONNECT) Sika from the canton of Zug has opened a large-scale mortar production facility in Bridgeton. According to a company statement, the plant is the largest and most modern of its kind in the USA. Specifically, the site is dedicated to the production of repair and leveling mortars, technical mortars, tile adhesives and shotcrete solutions. With this portfolio, Sika is targeting both new infrastructure projects and the fast-growing requirement for commercial building and infrastructure refurbishment.
This broad range of solutions is designed to directly service metropolitan areas in the northeastern part of the country. In infrastructure hubs such as New York, Boston, Philadelphia and Washington D.C., Sika aims to serve customers with industry-leading products and meet the growing demand for innovative mortar solutions and shotcrete systems.
