ARGUSA concludes resource planning for construction company
Le Mont-sur-Lausanne - ARGUSA from the canton of Vaud has provided a client in the construction industry with a system to optimize its project and resource planning. For this, a data and analysis platform for operational processes including data management and user interaction was created over a period of 18 months.
(CONNECT) The IT company ARGUSA has developed an end-to-end analysis solution for a Swiss structural and civil engineering company. In the 18-month project, simple but important use cases were initially set up on the data platform. As the company started to see results, new requirements as regards data and transparency in the processes were added step by step.
According to ARGUSA, this new system enables its client to better plan projects and adapt planning to reality on an ongoing basis. In addition, it is now reportedly possible to optimize the use of machines and avoid idle times. Since the new platform also assigns work to staff according to their skills and experience, the construction company can reduce its personnel needs during peak periods.
The data platform was set up on Snowflake, while Tableau was used for the analytics platform. Data management runs on the open source platform OpenMetadata and user interaction is via Streamlit.
“Every AI project is a data project,” commented ARGUSA’s Head of Operations Fatima Soomro. “If your data isn’t well-governed, your AI will never scale. At ARGUSA, we help organizations get back in the driver’s seat.” ARGUSA is one of twelve exhibitors from Switzerland at GITEX Global who will be present at the SWISS Pavilion. The trade fair takes place in Dubai between 13 and 17 October 2025. ce/mm
