Oviva is one of the world’s best HealthTech companies

Altendorf/New York - Oviva, a digital HealthTech company from the canton of Schwyz, has been named in the World's Best Digital Health Companies 2024. This is the first time that Newsweek magazine and the German online platform Statista have compiled a list of the 400 best digital medtech companies in the world from 35 countries.

According to New York’s Newsweek magazine, the digital and prescription offerings from Oviva for individuals with obesity and diabetes are among the services and technologies that are shaping the healthcare sector. In the first edition of the World's Best Digital Health Companies 2024, Newsweek and Statista, an online statistics platform based in Hamburg, have compiled a list of 400 companies located across 35 countries.

Oviva is one of six DACH countries to have made it into the Treatment category. Oviva writes on LinkedIn: “We couldn’t be prouder. We have helped more than 550,000 patients live healthier and happier lives by providing the most accessible and effective care to people living with weight-related conditions.” Another Swiss HealthTech company was featured in the Prevention category: Aktiia from Neuchâtel enables long-term blood pressure measurement with an elegant bracelet.

The individual companies were assessed on the basis of an analysis of various industries, including financial performance and traffic data for websites and apps. Additionally, the market research company Holon IQ, also based in New York, supplied information on the importance of the individual companies’ products and services as well as on the competency of their management. ce/mm
