DKSH and Klingelnberg open Demo Center in China

Zurich/Taicang - DKSH and the mechanical engineering firm Klingelnberg have opened a Demo Center in the Chinese city of Taicang. At this new facility, the market expansion service provider and specialist for gearing technologies intend to showcase the latest technical innovations and applications for China’s growing gearing industry.

(CONNECTDKSH, the market expansion service provider headquartered in Zurich and Klingelnberg AG, based in Oerlikon in the canton of Zurich, have jointly opened a Demo Center in the Chinese city of Taicang. At the new center, the two companies intend to showcase the latest technical innovations in the area of gearing technologies, as Klingelnberg explains in a press release.

The new center is intended not only to showcase new products but should also serve as a hub for knowledge exchange, cooperation and deeper collaborations with Chinese companies. It is expected to play a key role in China’s rapidly evolving gearing industry, where Klingelnberg’s gear technology products are essential. For example, as part of the official opening, latest technologies including Quiet Bevel Grinding – software for bevel gear grinding that employs a new, innovative approach for low-noise, high-precision hypoid and bevel gear teeth – were presented alongside the Smart Factory production planning and monitoring software as well.

“The DKSH-Klingelnberg Demo Center is an innovation platform that combines Klingelnberg’s centuries of expertise in gear and precision measurement technology with DKSH’s over 30 years of market experience in China”, as William Li, General Manager of the Technology Business Unit, DKSH China, states in the press release.
