US media review Albin Kaelin’s book
Widnau - Albin Kaelin’s book, published in the USA under the title “From Rebel to Radical Innovator”, has been reviewed by several publications recently. For example, according to Clara Winslow for the New York Wire, the founder of epeaswitzerland should not even have to be a rebel.
(CONNECT) Albin Kaelin shouldn’t be a rebel, as Clara Winslow writes for the New York Wire to kick off her review of “From Rebel To Radical Innovator”, the new book from the Swiss sustainability expert. After all, circularity is more than just a business strategy – it is a moral and ecological imperative, Winslow explains further.
Kaelin is the founder and CEO of epeaswitzerland, a specialist in innovations based on the Cradle to Cradle concept headquartered in Widnau in the canton of St.Gallen, Switzerland. This circular economy principle is also the focus of his book, which therefore serves as more than just a memoir of his leadership journey, according to a review by Marcus Trent in “The Chicago Journal”. Rather, the book contains 60 specific case studies from nearly as many companies to shine a light on how the circular economy can be implemented in the real world.
Evelyn Marris also touches upon Kaelin’s reputation as a rebel in her article for the “San Francisco Post”: While most people were just starting to think about sustainability, Albin Kaelin had “already spent decades redesigning it”, she states. Marris, Trent, and Winslow also address the beginnings of Kaelin’s journey on his way to becoming this supposed rebel. Despite being naturally left-handed, he was forced during his schooldays to write with his right hand. This experience, he says, led him to reject things that made no sense to him. Cradle to Cradle, on the other hand, does make sense; it is for this reason that Kaelin ultimately opted to dedicate his professional career to the principle of a circular economy and its implementation.
