Cilander sells Herisau site to Herold Taxi AG
Herisau - AG Cilander is selling off its property in Herisau, Switzerland, following its acquisition by the Chargeurs Group. Herold Taxi AG, which is currently based in St.Gallen, will establish its headquarters on the site. Cilander will continue to operate its production facility in Lützelflüh, in the Swiss canton of Bern.
Cilander is selling its property in Herisau in the canton of Appenzell Ausserrhoden. Following the sale of the eastern part of the site to Rico Sicherheitstechnik AG, the western part will now be acquired by Herold Taxi AG, explains a Cilander press release. The textile company says it ceased production in Herisau after the Chargeurs Group acquired strategic assets in July. As part of the Chargeurs Group, the newly established SENFA-CILANDER Switzerland AG will be headquartered in Herisau and will continue to operate some parts of the business, particularly the production facility in Lützelflüh.
Herold Taxi AG, which is currently based in St.Gallen, will move into the newly acquired site. “After a lengthy search, we are delighted to have found a location that will support our growth to the benefit of our private and public-sector clients,” says Managing Director Samuel Holenstein. “We look forward to writing the next chapter of our story in Herisau and continuing to serve our clients.” The services currently offered in St.Gallen will still be available around the clock. ce/hs
